## Characters [[Barquq]] [[Bonbon]] [[Chiffon]] [[Butterscotch]] [[Ramune]] ## Friends’ Characters [[Tiramisu and Eclair]] [[Velvet]] ## What is it? I made my first OC [[Mint (OC)|Mint]] in 2018. That's a wild amount of time! I actually can't believe it. But besides some updates and offshoots[^1], I haven't really gone further than that. This year I wanted to make some new OCs and branch out! But where do I start? Mint began as a representation of myself online, which is why I've been so content to stick with them. If I was going to do something like this again, I wanted to make it personal in the same way. And then I got an epiphany where I get all my epiphanies: in bed, just as I was about drift off to sleep. Despite the way I clown on them, you can probably tell I love videogames. It's the hobby that helps me deal with my [[ADHD]], and the one that has brought me together with all my friends. So what if I made OCs based around my favorite genres of games? And had them all exist in one shared universe? Kind of like Hyperdimension Neptunia, but, you know, not bad? And then friends got in on it too! As the years go on I'd like to get my friends involved even more building out this Dessertoverse[^2] by creating their own genre OCs, whether they be heroes, villains, random shopkeepers, and so on. Just because I made a fighting game OC doesn't mean that "slot" is taken, so to speak - more per genre would be super fun! That's basically it!
