## 2025-05-10 I’m finally gonna finish this damn game, I SWEAR. I love the Judgement Ring system and the aesthetic, I just keep putting it off. But no more excuses. Def a product of its time in some ways, but there’s pretty much no other [[JRPG]] like it. Makes me sad **Penny Blood**, the spiritual sequel, is likely to never see the light of day. Might give the spin-off game a shot too. I’ve heard it’s balanced more on the silly side than the other two games’ serious / silly split, but the mechanical upgrades intrigue me.
