Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it [[They Will Kill You|happened twice]]. **Ready or Not 2: Here I Come** understood its assignment, which you can tell because they used the correct subtitle for its follow-up. This movie is very similar to the **John Wick** series, funny enough. The first way is in how I asked “does this really need a sequel?” but then I watched said sequel and it immediately justified itself with its quality. The second reason is that this movie effectively has set the series up as the **John Wick** of horror, expanding the scope of its lore in some fun ways. The stakes are higher and the budget is bigger, but it all still works. I dunno if it’ll be as rewatchable as the first [[Ready or Not (2019)|Ready or Not]], but I really enjoyed it.
