This movie was wild. It's about a bunch of detectives who are on a boat transporting a bunch of criminals from the Philippines to Korea for extradition. Chaos ensues.
This movie - and I'm not exaggerating - has elements similar to the following media:
- Robocop
- Resident Evil
- Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
- Prison Break
And probably more I can't think of off the top of my head. I'd argue it's best to experience this film without knowing what's going to happen and also only if you have a strong stomach for ultra-violence, because *boy* is there a lot of it! The plot is absolutely bonkers and only accelerates in ridiculousness as it races towards the climax.
As for how I feel about **Project Wolf Hunting** overall - I don't, honestly! It wasn't *bad*, but it definitely wasn't anything special, and I already have forgotten about it despite having watched it not that long ago from the writing of this post. But the violence is so indiscriminate and quick that it's hard to tell who I'm supposed to be rooting for until the very end. I also think the chaos of the film is overly explained. Sometimes - honestly, *most* of the time - less is more.
4/7, doubt I'll rewatch it but an easy way to kill 2 hours if you're looking for it!
