## 2025-02-23 I could watch this movie every day for the rest of my life. It has slowly become one of my favorites, and knowing how the mystery plays out doesn't make it any less fun. That said, it's especially fun to watch with people who haven't seen it before. Every line of dialogue is expertly crafted and meaningful and funny, it's shot extremely well, Benoit Blanc gets to be his silly, gay little detective self for two hours. It's honestly perfect, zero notes. I find it interesting that people find this movie more underwhelming than the original **Knives Out**. I think the reasons it gets criticized as being underwhelming - mainly how the mystery is resolved - is the same reason why I love it so much. In particular, the movie goes out of its way to explain *why* the mystery is resolved the way it is[^1]. It's in the title! Anyways. I don't normally prescribe to "comfort" media - not because I disagree with the concept, I just don't find most media comforting, haha. But if I do have one, it's definitely **Glass Onion**. I can't get enough of it, and it's lovely to watch when I'm feeling down, same as **Knives Out**. Really hoping the third movie keeps this level of quality up. [^1]: Sorry being vague to not spoil you because you should definitely watch this
