## 2025-04-17 I am not usually a farming game kind of guy outside of stuff like **Rune Factory** and **Harvestella**. I grabbed **Fields of Mistria** because my friends have all enjoyed it though and I’m pretty into it! I like its aesthetic much more than **Stardew Valley** - the SNES/GBA vibes are very cohesive and pleasant. And it has a lot of QOL stuff and a quicker start than that game too. One thing in particular that’s kind of funny to think about is that it’s also easier for me to get into **Mistria** because it’s *not* done. I feel like it’s easier to digest a game that’s only been out for a little over a year as opposed to one that’s gotten, like, a decade’s worth of updates, including last year, lmfao. I will be taking my sweet time with this game and not worrying about min/maxing, which will help me enjoy it more. Also you didn’t ask but Reina is my wife, she just doesn’t know it yet.
