## 2025-09-28 I love this series. I’m finally rereading past where I last stopped and it still hits great. Ryoko Kui is one of the industry’s best artists. Her mastery of clothing and the diversity of her character designs is the kind of shit I dream of to come out of other mangaka. Marcille is the most relatable character in existence. I am also always screaming and panicking and fail-girling. ## 2025-10-01 Yep still a GOATed manga, generational as far as pacing, tone, and the way it ties up every single plot point. I love when manga is made by women!!! My only exception is the cat girl who I feel didn’t add much to the plot tbh. Wish more was done with her, I feel like she kind of just exists to hold on to a mcguffin and serve as the POV for the penultimate chapter. But I barely remembered she was there sometimes. Just a weird weak point to an otherwise perfect manga.
