I don't want to spoil too much, but it's about a bunch of queer musicians who band together (haha) to save the world. I don't have any demos yet, but I have chipped away at the soundtrack and character sketches. You play as a young musician, the Reader, in a post-apocalyptic world where music is outlawed. There are still musicians, though, and the Reader wants to learn to play to rebel against the dark magic that keeps the world silent. They are sent on an amazing journey where they meet new people, fight impossible battles, and find their family. They encounter six musicians-- Renaissance, X (short for Xavier, not that other thing), Pluto, Maestro, Loki, and Daemon. Each musician teaches them a different aspect of music and helps them along their journey. Ren and X have a mutual crush but Ren is convinced they're already dating and X thinks Ren hates him (they're my blorbos and X has issues). Maestro is nonbinary. Loki is a floating skeleton! I want people to be able to see themselves in these musicians, or at the least find comfort in these guys. Each of them is inspired by an actual musician that I admire.
