[[2026 Cafe Posts#^172725|2026 Cafe Posts]] After what feels like months of trying to climb out of the depression hole, it feels like I might finally be seeing the initial beams of light overhead. Weirdly enough, it's media that helped — stuff like [[2 Ship 2 Harkinian|Majora’s Mask]] and [[The Thunderbolts]] feel like jolts of hope that I've needed for a while now. Besides that, I'm starting to actually get good news at a semi-frequent pace? Nothing I'm going to share here just yet, in fear of jinxing it, but promising events are beginning to take shape, and I'll be happy to report on them when / if they’re fully formed. One thing that I can talk about freely that I’m weirdly proud about is how many games I've been clearing out of my backlog. I guess when it feels like progress is stalling in other parts of ones’ life, making progress in silly little videogame tasks works as a temporary substitute. Winter is upon us soon, allegedly, and I look forward to that. And now, the cheesecake signals are blaring. I must go — the Resee’s Peanut Butter Cake calls to me like a hot pie on a windowsill in a children’s cartoon.
